Terms of Service


Welcome to Crafted Light Photography. We’re a family-owned studio based in the Leland/Wilmington, North Carolina area, passionate about creating timeless, beautifully lit images using Profoto studio lighting and natural golden-hour light. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and our photography services. By booking a session or using our site, you agree to these terms.


Services

We specialize in heartfelt family portraits, intimate/small weddings, and coastal/beach sessions. All sessions are conducted on location. We strive to create images that require minimal editing by getting the light right in-camera, so you receive authentic, high-quality photographs ready for wall art or personal enjoyment.


Booking & Scheduling

  • A non-refundable session fee is required to secure your date and time.
  • We limit sessions to one per day to ensure we give each family or couple our full attention. Sessions take as long as needed—no rush.
  • We prefer shooting outside during optimal light (sunrise–10am or 2pm–sunset) but are flexible for indoor or special circumstances.
  • Changes to date/time must be made at least 14 days in advance (subject to availability).


Payments & Pricing

  • Pricing is provided at the time of inquiry and may include introductory rates while we build our portfolio.
  • Full payment or a deposit is required before delivery of images.
  • We accept [list your payment methods].
  • Print and album orders are quoted separately and fulfilled through trusted partners.


Image Delivery & Usage

  • Digital files or prints are delivered within two weeks after the session (or as agreed).
  • You receive personal usage rights for your images. We retain the right to use selected images in our portfolio, website, and marketing materials unless you specifically request otherwise at the time of booking.
  • You may not sell or commercially use the images without our written permission.


Cancellations & Refunds

  • The session fee is non-refundable but may be applied to a rescheduled date (within 6 months, subject to availability).
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to weather, illness, or unforeseen circumstances.


Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the session.


Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.


Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
